LLM-BRIDGE kick-off: supporting European startups in the LLM sector

Villers-Cotterêts, 11–12 September 2025. The consortium behind the LLM Booster for Regional Innovation and Digital Growth in Europe (LLM-BRIDGE) project convened for a focused two-day kick-off event at the Cité internationale de la langue française in Villers-Cotterêts. The meeting outlined plans to support startups operating in the fast-growing field of Large Language Models (LLMs).

LLM-BRIDGE brings together ten partners across Europe and is coordinated by the ALT-EDIC. The  partners, specialised in supporting startups and innovation, will pool their expertise and resources to offer three programmes focused on LLMs.

Three programmes for impact

Entrepreneurial Education Programme: A structured education programme for pre-seed and seed startups. Participants will attend workshops and receive one-to-one mentoring on various topics such as enterprise management, the technological and regulatory environment, access to finance, and development strategies.

Venture Incubation Programme: Incubation services designed to accelerate product and customer validation. Where possible, startups will receive access to tailored technical resources such as datasets and computing, guidance on legal compliance, and support for customer acquisition. More than half a million euros will be allocated to selected incubators and startups.

Acceleration Programme: An acceleration programme for startups aiming at Series A funding. The programme will provide tailored support in investment readiness, scaling, and regulatory compliance. The programme will culminate in focused investor matchmaking with investors.

Strategic significance

LLM-BRIDGE intends to bridge the gap between cutting-edge language technologies and market adoption across Europe’s regions. The consortium will combine entrepreneurial education with hands-on technical enablement, ensure that regulatory requirements are addressed early, and connect promising teams with customers and investors.

Next steps

Over the coming period, the consortium will launch a series of Open Calls in early 2026 to participate in the three LLM-BRIDGE programmes. Interested startups, incubators, and investors are invited to visit the LLM-BRIDGE website and follow the LinkedIn project page.
